| 兵庫県出身 宝塚造形芸術大学 映像造形学科卒業 コンピューターグラフィックに興味を持ち、大学では映像造形学科に進む。大学で学ぶうち、自分で描くことの意味を強く感じ始め、コンピューターグラフィックで二次的に加工し完成を目指すよりも、もっと直接的な、自分で描いた唯一の表現に魅力を感じ、自分の側にあった画材・色えんぴつで絵を描くようになる。 描くのは「人」。モデルはいない。表現したいのは「人」ではなく、自分の感情や感覚、思考を「人」という形で表見している。その「人」は大人ではない。「こども」でもない。大人の中にある「こども」の部分の象徴として表現している。 こどもの頃に持っていたまっすぐな感情。嬉しいこと、楽しいことに全力で向かい、不安なこと、悲しいことに全身で傷つく。私たちは大人になるにつれてそんな感情を忘れてしまった。感情を抑えて、上手に生きるようになってしまった。 でもあの頃の自分は、今もまだ自分の中にいる。そしてその自分こそが、今の自分の核になっている。 大人の中にある「こども」の部分を、大人になった今の視点で描く。そうして描かれた人物の瞳は、私たちが生きる今の社会を静かに見つめている。 Born in Hyogo, JAPAN Obtained in a bachelor degrees in Media Art at Takarazuka University of Art and Design. TON draws “people” with colored pencils. She had interest in computer graphics, and she majored the imaging art and design at university.She felt more charm of the direct expression by her own drawing, so she started to draw with color pencils as familiar painting material. What she draws is "people". But there is no model.What she wants to express is not the appearance of "people", but she expresses her feelings, senses, thoughts, and images in the form of "people".The “people” is neither an adult nor “a child”.She portrays the drawing as an expression of the "child" part of her as an adult. That is the honest feelings she had in the child days.With all of her might, she went straight towards the joyful and happiness also she got hurt by insecurities and sadness. We’ve forgotten such feelings as we grew up.We've become living calculatingly by controlling our emotions.But she says that herself in those days is still here, and that is the core of her life now. The “children” that she draws are quietly stares at today's world. |
